Over the next two days eight hundred and fifty-four Grade six students across Dominica will sit the grade six national assessments.
Usually held in May, this year’s exams were postponed to June due to setbacks from the covid 19 pandemic.
Minister for Education, Octavia Alfred says the students were given the extra time to better prepare for the exams.
Minister Alfred says covid 19 protocols are in place to allow students to sit their exams safely.
She further noted parents are not allowed to remain on testing grounds during the examination process.
