Govt of Dominica finalizing plans to boost economic activity
The Government of Dominica is finalizing a plan to boost economic activity following the fallout from COVID-19.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit told Kairi’s Heng Programme on Friday his Government was looking to stimulate the agriculture and construction sectors.
He said direct assistance to small business owners and people who have lost their jobs is also in the works.
Meantime Prime Minister Skerrit says, like others in the region, Dominica will have to seek additional funding from international lending institutions.
