Government To Construct Central Processing Plants For Small Producing Farmers On The Island
The government is constructing 3 factories to process Farine for export on a wider scale to the Caribbean region.
Trade minister Ian Douglas made the announcement on Kairi’s Heng earlier yesterday. Douglas says these factories will be used to process raw products such as cassava and arrowroot into products for export.
This means farmers will be relieved from working on a small scale from their homes by bringing their produce to a bigger factory to be refined, produced, and labeled professionally within a much quicker time for export.
