Government Says Dominica More Equipped To Face Future Disasters

In addition to the recent commissioning of regional emergency shelters on island Government has also commissioned an emergency operations center in the community of Capuchin.

Meantime Canadian high commissioner Her Excellency Lilian Chatterjee says she is pleased to see the results of Canada’s partnership with Dominica.

And Parliamentary representative for the Cottage constituency Reginald Austrie noted, government has been working toward ensuring resilience and believes Dominica is more prepared to face climate change events.
