Government of Dominica officially opens Cardiology Department at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital

The Government of Dominica on Friday officially opened the Cardiology Department at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital.

The Cardiology Department is the first of its kind in Dominica.

Speaking at a ceremony to mark the occasion, Health Minister Dr. Irving Mc Intyre praised the governments of China and Cuba for continuing contributions to Dominica’s Health services.

Chief of Economic & Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Dominica, Wang Quanhuo, expressed pride in the accomplishments of Dominica’s health sector.

Cardiologist at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital Dr. Dexi Wu also addressed the function.
