Government continues discussions on the construction of a new Public Library in Roseau

Head of the Dominica Library and Information Service Vernanda Raymond says Government has not abandoned plans to build a new public library in Roseau.

Speaking on Education in Action on Wednesday she reminded that the Public library on Victoria Street, sustained significant structural damage during Hurricane Maria in 2017, and currently operates at a smaller venue in Roseau.

She said discussions continue on the construction of a new facility.

    This building means so much to Dominicans all over, it has to be saved. Big part of my childhood
