Government Commits To Paying Salaries Of LIAT’s Dominica-Based Staff

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit is expressing his solidarity with regional airline LIAT and vows to continue supporting the airline as time goes by.

The airline faced its biggest setback during the pandemic, struggling to overcome debt as the world shut down.

Speaking on his weekly talk show ‘anou palay’, the prime minister shared that as part of its commitment to the airline, the government of Dominica has been paying the salaries of LIAT staff based in Dominica since the airline went into bankruptcy.
