The Heath Promotion Unit of the Ministry of Health and Social Service have ended what has been deem a very successful a six week “Get Healthy Campaign –the link between Oral Health and Non Communicable Diseases -NCDs“ in the St Joseph Health District, at Salisbury Health Centre.
The Health Promotion Unit and the Dental Services conducted the campaign. The main objectives of the campaign were to increase the awareness of the importance of oral health and NCDs; to demonstrate the management strategies of oral health in NCDs; to increase the use of preventative measures and interventions and to demonstrate the effectiveness of proper brushing, flossing and gargling.
