General Manager of Dominica Solid Waste Florian Mitchell concerned about Professionalism on the Job
General Manager of Dominica Solid Waste, Florian Mitchell expressed his satisfaction with the level of service offered by the Dominica Solid Waste but hopes to see some improvement in the workers desire to do their jobs professionally.
Mitchell admits that the corporation has often been criticized for its workers lack of proper apparel considering the health risks involved.
Mitchell states that the corporation has always stressed the need for workers to wear the appropriate uniforms and protection gears and even so, many are still refusing to follow protocol.
Mr. Mitchell admits that ensuring its workers safety is critical to the Dominica Solid waste.
He says there has been an instance when wearing the proper gear on the job has minimized risk of injury.
