The cost of petroleum products rose again in Dominica effective Monday November 21, 2022.
According to Director of Trade Matthan Walter this price increase is due to several reasons.
At present gasoline now costs $15.94 per gallon, High Sulphur Diesel costs $16.72 per gallon and Kerosene now costs $15.04 per gallon.
Social media has shown long lines at the pumps as Dominicans rush to fill their tanks out of fear for a fuel shortage.
Walter once again addressed panic buying on the island saying this is unnecessary and ill advised.
