Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit said the Draft Bill for the establishment of the Rapid Response Social Recovery Agency will be tabled at the next sitting of parliament.
He said the bill will hasten the process of approving assistance for vulnerable citizens.
Skerrit made these remarks during his recent address to the nation.
Skerrit revealed that several schools across the island are currently under repair.
Meantime, Skerrit said 7550 vulnerable households have benefitted with cash grants following Hurricane Maria.
He said these grants came to fruition once food and water became more available after the hurricane.
