ePassport Transition Period Extended to December 2022
Government has extended the ePassport transition period to December 2022.
Earlier this year, government revised its deadline for Dominica’s transition to the e-passport from July 2023 to August 2022 creating a tight deadline for Dominicans here and abroad.
Minister for National Security Rayburn Blackmoore says government has once again revised this timeline and has chosen to extend the transition period in order to better accommodate Dominicans.
Minister Blackmoore noted, government has taken into consideration challenges faced by applicants during this transition period. Therefore, government made the decision to grant a final extension.
