The Dominica solid waste Management cooperation says the Fond Cole Landfill which was closed from Tuesday is now opened to the public.
The closure which was as a result of equipment break down has severely affected the operations has impacted garbage collection and disposal in the south of the island
PRO of the cooperation Jeno Jacob says only household waste is accepted at the Find Cole Landfill at this time.
KairiFm also sought an update from Mr. Jacob on the situation at Stockfarm where residents had been up in arms with the cooperation over dumping of material at the old landfill
