Dominica’s economy is looking at a 16% decline in 2018
Financial Secretary Rosamund Edwards said that Dominica’s economy is looking at a 16% decline in 2018.
She said that prior to the passage of Hurricane Maria Dominica’s economy was on the path of reaching growth of 3% of Gross Domestic Product.
She said that upon the commencement of the rehabilitation projects Dominica’s economy is expected to experience growth in 2019.
Edwards was speaking at the National Rebuilding and Economic Partnership Consultation at the Goodwill Parish Hall TODAY, Monday.
Meantime, Edwards has revealed the findings from the Post Disaster Needs Assessment which was conducted post Hurricane Maria.
