Dominica To Receive Aid From Cuba In Matters Of Climate Resilience
Dominica will receive much aid from the Republic of Cuba in the following months in several avenues including environment resilience and the much-anticipated international airport.
Dominica’s forest took a major hit during the passage of Hurricane Maria resulting in the loss of much of the island’s lush greenery.
According to the Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, cabinet has begun considering the launch of a reforestation programme with support from Cuba.
Government will also receive aid toward the construction of the international airport.
