Dominica State College Welcomes First Year Students for New Academic Year

Students entering the Dominica State College in September have been reminded that their academic success will depend largely on their determination and how they apply themselves to the disciplines which they are undertaking.

A week of orientation sessions which began on Monday for first year students, was aimed at guiding them into a new college experience preparing them for successful achievement of their academic goals.

Dean of Academic Affairs Dr. Hermancia Eugene reminded the students that there are no perfect institutions but assured them that the College is dedicated to student success and listed a number of points which they would need to observe.

Meantime, Kairi News caught up with a few of the students and had their reactions to entering college, for the first time.
