The Dominica Red Cross has no emergency supplies for distribution to citizens here but stands ready to assist with the fight against COVID-19.
That’s the report from Sandra Charter- Rolle, Director of the Red Cross arm here, who highlighted the role of the organization in Dominica’s fight against the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Rolle says Red Cross volunteers are at the service of the Ministry of Health and are involved in screening at the hospital and community engagement.
According to Rolle, the Red Cross is ready to assist Government in implementing its plan for stemming the spread of COVID-19.
