Dominica Red Cross has begun reconstruction on 27 homes

Red Cross Dominica has begun reconstruction on 27 homes within the Layou community. 

That was according to the Shelter Officer for the Dominica Red Cross Kent Leslie. Leslie said that due to the shortage of materials only 75% of the homes have been completed. 

Leslie was speaking to Kairi FM News following an official visit from the Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
