Dominica has received a donation of COVID-19 supplies from US based firm, GMED Global. The firm specializes in the training of medical professionals and the building of state-of-the-art facilities all over the world.
Health Minister Dr. Irvin Mcyntire made the announcement earlier this week where he revealed that while on island the firm also facilitate the training of medical staff along with the donation of over 2000 covid test kits and a vaccine storage freezer which will be able to hold up to 16k doses. According to Mcytnire, the donation values almost $300,000 USD.
Dr.Mcyntire has expressed gratitude to GMED Global for their contribution to Dominica’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic
