Dominica puts measures in place to battle climatic weather conditions
Dominica is putting systems in place to increase the understanding of weather and climate phenomena to build resilience.
That’s according to Ag. Snr. Meteorological Officer Marshall Alexander speaking on the occasion of World Meteorological Day today, observed under the theme, ‘The Ocean, Climate and Weather.’
Alexander said Dominica is taking steps to build resilience by establishing a system that supports forecasting and early warning for extreme weather events.
