The Dominica Nurses Association on the observance of their sixty fifth anniversary is, according to the President, pushing ahead to ensure that goals are met despite the many challenges and obstacles.
The week of activities which runs until Saturday twenty seventh is with the theme, Our Heritage Our future, Critical Thinkers into the Twenty Second Century and Beyond.
President Yolanda Rodney-Jno. Baptiste in a press conference this morning lauded the vision and dedication of nursing stalwarts as they strived to pave the way for reaching this milestone and, for the successes that the association can be proud of today.
Mrs. Rodney Jno Baptiste said that the association remains committed to the personal and professional development of its membership thus enhancing identity and purpose.
The week of activities which began on Sunday 21st August, includes a Church Service at the Portsmouth Methodist Church, Press Conference PSU Building at 10am today 65th Anniversary Day; a Zoom meeting to meet and greet motivational session where members will share their experiences over the years, an Educational Sessions at the PSU building, on customer Service, will Writing, Holistic Self-Care and Investment.
There will also be a Meet and Greet Whistle Stop: Visitation to Dominica Nurses Association Retirees home bound, a Sports and Fund-raising Day: Activities include, T-shirt sales with DNA Logo and theme and, end on Saturday 27th with a Cocktail at the PSU from 7pm.
