Dominica is being praised for having advanced COVID19 testing equipment

Health Minister Dr. Irving McIntyre has praised Dominica’s capacity to conduct advanced testing using the Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) machine.

The PCR machine is being used for testing for COVID-19, according to Dr. McIntyre.

Dr. McIntyre says Government will soon acquire another PCR machine that is currently being used by the Ministry of Agriculture, and this will place Dominica in a much better position.

According to the Health Minister, Dominica’s test results using the PCR machine have accurately matched the results of the CDC in Atlanta.
