Dominica Geothermal Energy Project – Beyond The Criticism
Dominica ambassador to the united states and Dominica coordinator of Dominica geothermal energy project Dr Vince Henderson says taking Dominica to a climate resilient country is based on the relations ship that Prime Minister Roosevelt Skeerit and his leader has developed with its partners over the years.
He says Dominica particularly critics from the opposition should not feel that aid would automatically come to Dominica from other nations because a category five hurricane has hit the country. He said it does not work so.
According to Henderson the reason why Dominica is getting so much support it’s because of the relationship that Prime Minister Skerrit has developed with these partners over the years.
Dr Henderson was reacting to criticisms from the opposition over government rebuilding efforts in making Dominica a more resilient country based on the support that has been flowing into the country from friendly donors.
Dr Henderson says the Agency Franciase de development a French company has also strengthen its support to Dominica post Hurricane Mari in various ways.
Dr Vince Henderson says Government will be thoroughly advise by the Clinton foundation the best way forward for Dominica geothermal energy.
