Dominica declares State of Emergency

A state of Emergency has been declared for Dominica.

The announcement came from Attorney Genera Levi Peter on Wednesday night.

The state of Emergency makes provision for a curfew which took effect from Wednesday evening.

The Curfew is in effect from 6 pm to 6 am Monday to Friday and a shutdown comes into effect on Saturdays and Sunday.
