The Dominica Labour Party will on Sunday officially launch its candidate, Gregory Karessah Riviere to contest the Marigot seat at the next general elections.
Parliamentary Representative for the Portsmouth Constituency Ian Douglas addressed a Press Conference Friday, saying the DLP is confident it is presenting an excellent candidate in Marigot.
“Everyone will admit that Karessah is an excellent candidate,”Douglas said. “He’s been with his people. He’s been really integrated into the Marigot community”.
Douglas says that Karessah “stepped up to the plate” and decided to serve his people, “and that’s a unique attribute of the DOminica Labour Party”.
Douglas further indicated to the Press that upcoming projects including the Marigot Hospital and the International Airport in Wesley will be discussed on Sunday.
