Director of Forestry Minchinton Burton – Tree Replanting at Botanic Gardens

Director of Forestry Minchinton Burton says the task of replanting the major trees in within the Botanic Gardens will be challenging for the Forestry Division. 

He made the observation during  a tree planting ceremony at the Botanic Gardens last week. 

Following Hurricane Maria the Botanic Gardens was one of the areas which suffered tremendous damage. 

Burton says despite the challenges Hurricane Maria presented an opportunity for holistic development of the gardens.
