In recognition of the celebration of the school’s 129th anniversary, Past students of the Dominica Grammar School made a financial contribution to their alma mater. According to a press release, The DGS Class of 1990 donated over $1300 earlier this week which will go into the school’s pastoral care programme.
PRO for the DGS class of 1990 group, Daphne Vidal says, “This is just the first step in our efforts to give back to the school. There are over 60 members of the DGS class of 1990, and we see the need to contribute meaningfully to the school which has helped shape our lives in so many ways. We see this opportunity as just a small step to the start of a budding relationship to provide much needed support to the students and staff of the Dominica Grammar School. We look forward to working closely with the principal and staff of the Dominica Grammar School as we seek to actively live out the school’s motto “A sound mind in a healthy body”.
