DEXIA Providing Recycling Skills Training at Strictly Local Christmas village

This Christmas children here will have fun recycling at the upcoming Strictly Local Christmas Village!

The Christmas Village is being organised by the Dominica Export Import Agency (DEXIA) and numerous other local associations, in an effort to promote local products and services during the Christmas season.

Information Officer at DEXIA Ayeola George says included in the highlights of the Village will be a Kids Zone which will feature face painting and upcycling.

In upcycling, children will be taught how to make Christmas presents using recycled products.

Miss. George highlighted a new activity which will form the grand opening of the three- day event: a parade.

She said all local associations represented at the Christmas Village will be present, and onlookers can expect an extravagant float prepared by the Waitikubuli Artist’s Association.
