Development of new hotel properties in Dominica is furthering Government’s objectives to build the economy.
Tourism Minister Robert Tonge made comments as three Dominican properties are among the Forbes Top Ten most anticipated Caribbean hotels for 2019 and beyond.
The Anichi Resort & Spa, Jungle Bay Resort and Kempinski Resort are all funded in part by the country’s Citizenship by Investment Programme.
Minister Tonge says this is part of Government’s vision to grow the tourism sector and foster economic growth.
According to Tonge, his Government is pleased that Dominica is receiving international attention for its ongoing hotel projects.
Meantime representatives of the Anichi Resort and Spa say they are pleased to have been acknowledged as one of the properties to anticipate for the upcoming year and look forward to meeting the expectations of the travel trade when the resort opens.
