With profound sadness we announce the death of Emile Lancelot, 87 years old of Canfield. He
passed away peacefully (at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital) on Wednesday June 28th
2022 at 5:00pm.
He was the husband of: Hearle Lancelot
Father of: Fletcher, Emile, Moira, Andrel and Eamon
He was survived by his Sister: Maureen
Beloved Grandchildren: Njemile, Michelle, Michael, Ashonie, Emma and Emile
Nephews and nieces including: Vyleen, Collin, Angus, Irvin, Louvaine, Marah, Jacqueline,
Franklin, Malcolm, Gabriel, Lonie, Francette and Francelise
Son-in-law: Babatundé
Daughter-in-Law: Joanne
Neighbours and residents of the Canefield community including: the Lestrade, Mulcair,
Jermaine, Grell, Doctrove, Cassell and Bertrand families
The McIntyre, Hazel, Lafond, Powell and related families in Dominica and abroad

The body of the late Emile Lancelot will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for
viewing at 2 pm on Tuesday 12 July 2022 at St. Martin De Porres Church in Canefield. The
funeral service begins at 2:30 pm followed by interment at the Roseau Catholic Cemetery.
