Businesses here have been advised to prepare Business Continuity Plans (BCP’s) in light of the upcoming hurricane season.
Executive Director of the Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce (DAIC) Lizra Fabien highlighted a recent workshop held with its members, which focused on the development of Continuity Plans.
Fabien says members were taught to develop plans using a six- step procedure.
Fabien says the upcoming hurricane season and the impact of COVID-19 poses a threat to business continuity here.
The DAIC urged its members and other businesses to create or amend BCP’s in preparation for this impending challenge.
