The Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce (DAIC) is urging the Private Sector and the Public Sector to take proactive measures in safeguarding all lives, resources and operations due to the threat of the 2022 Hurricane Season.
As the hurricane season progresses, the DAIC stresses the importance of Business Continuity Plans to ensure minimal disruptions.
Executive director of the DAIC Lizra Fabien says special considerations should be given to the most vulnerable employees or employees with vulnerable family members.
Fabien went on to encourage all to be mindful of private property (businesses and personal) in times of disaster and respect the guiding laws and principles advised and enforced by authorities.
