D.M.A Address Concerns About World Bank Funds Disbursement
The head of the Dominica Manufacturers Association is making a case for a loan facility for businesses at the AID Bank to be restructured.
Earlier this year, the World Bank approved $25 million US to help the country with its response measures and recovery efforts.
Prime Minister Skerrit has said funds would be allocated at the AID Bank for on-lending to businesses. However, President of the Manufacturers Association John Robin says its membership faces red tape in seeking credit from that loan facility.
Robin says they would like to continue dialoging with the authorities to resolve the matter, but will not rely solely on government efforts.
