The Caribbean Examinations Council on Friday announced a slight decline in the June 2019 Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate examinations.
At a press conference in Montserrat to officially announce the release of CXC results, the Premier and acting Minster of Education for Montserrat, Donaldson Romeo, reported that student performance has regressed.
According to Romeo successful students represent a small percentage of overall results.
Although official statistics have not been released, Caribbean Educators have begun to map a way forward. Romeo highlighted the need for educators to discard discrimination in order to encourage success.
