Current Cultural Activities Progressing With Good Results
Despite the effects of Hurricane Maria on Dominica’s cultural activities the Chief Cultural officer Raymond Lawrence says activities to mark Dominica’ Festival of Arts DOMFESTA 2018 have been progressing satisfactorily.
He says the Miss Teen Dominica Pageant signaled a great start to DOMFESTA followed by a documentary launch of the Jing Ping Music in Dominica
Lawrence says a cultural showcase this Sunday in Point Michelle will strengthen the activities to mark Dominica Festival of Arts 2018.
Lawrence has expressed gratitude to the general public for the support towards the activities so far and is hoping that more person can come on board in making this year’s activities a success.
