Cultural Icon Dr. Alwin Bully to be Celebrated on His 74th Birthday

One of Dominica’s cultural icons Dr. Alwin Bully is today celebrating his birthday today Wednesday November 23, 2022.

In celebration of Dr. Bully’s 74th birthday, Longtime friend, Historian and Archeologist, Dr. Lennox Honychurch among others will pay tribute to him in a presentation titled “The Sternest Passion: Alwin Bully & the Caribbean Cultural Renaissance”

According to his wife Mrs. Anita Bully, this presentation which traces Dr. Bully’s life from a young boy to present, and will highlight the early influences that nurtured this Caribbean Cultural Icon.

Earlier this month, Dr. Bully was honored with the Earl Warner Foundation award for excellence for his work in culture in the Caribbean which will be presented to him this evening.
