COVID-19 Updated Guidelines For Businesses To Fight Against Virus Spread
The Ministry of Health has issued covid guidelines for business entities in order to mitigate against the spread of Covid-19 on the island.
Speaking on Friday’s covid Health update, Senior environmental Health officer Calma Louis says businesses and employees play a crucial role in reducing the spread of covid-19 in the workplace.
According to these guidelines, employers must keep updated records of all employees including current phone numbers and addresses in order to facilitate contact tracing if necessary.
Infected employees must inform their employer of their covid status and follow covid protocols of quarantine and testing.
Employers are urged to encourage their employees to get vaccinated, practice good personal hygiene, and wear their masks properly.
