Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a mentally challenged boy of cottage.
Last week, villagers noticed the home of 17-year-old Thomason Victor was on fire with his 16-year-old brother Cody Victor who is also mentally challenged trapped inside.
Villagers rescued the boy and notified the fire department who arrived on scene and extinguished the fire.
First responders later discovered Thomason’s burnt body in the damage caused by the fire.
Cody was treated at the Reginal Armour Hospital in Portsmouth and discharged the same day.
Police continue their investigations into the cause of the fire.
