Contract Signed For Reconstruction Of Loubiere Playing Field
A contract to the tune of 105 thousand dollars has been signed for the reconstruction of the Loubiere playing field. The contract was signed at Welcome ceremony at Loubiere resource center on Thursday morning.
Parliamentary Representative for the area Chekira Lockhart- Hypolite says, while countries around the world are more focused on paying salaries developing their economies and taking care of other important needs amidst there challenges Dominica is still able to focus on sports development and provide 150 thousand dollars towards the development of the Loubiere playing field
The field was severely damaged during the passage of hurricane Maria in 2017

Meantime, chairman of the village council Ainsworth Irish believes this sum will go a long way toward enhancing sports in that community as well as building the lives of the youth of that area

The implementation of this new project will begin in three weeks. The Contract was signed between the government of Dominica and Green Rose Demolition and construction Inc.
