The first Two of 10 climate resilient houses from the Government of Dominica were handed over to residents of Union Estate in Point Mitchel on Friday.
These homes form part of the Prime Minister’s plan to build 1000 climate resilient homes for citizens across the island.
Speaking at the handing over ceremony the Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit said an additional 60 homes will be built in the Soufriere Constituency.
Meantime, Skerrit said the homes were built with state of the art technology.
