Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit on Sunday confirmed that a new international airport will be paid for with monies generated from Dominica’s Citizenship by Investment Programme.
Mr. Skerrit took questions from a panel of three journalists on his Sunday programme, Anou Palay.
He said Government is also open to accepting assistance from China.
Mr. Skerrit explains that the developer will accept the financial risk upfront to begin construction on the airport.
On Sunday, Mr. Skerrit also explained Government’s reasoning for the selection of the Wesley site for the construction of the international airport.
