Citizens advised against panic buying of cooking gas cylinders

Citizens here have been advised against the storage of a number of cooking gas cylinders at home.

Deborah Edward, General Manager of Sol EC Ltd. Dominica, distributors of Sol gas, gave recommendations to citizens in light of keeping safe during the COVID- 19 pandemic.

Last week, Dominica experienced a shortage of cooking gas, which according to Edward was due to panic buying by Dominican residents.

Edward reminded citizens to refrain from panic and to follow the advice of the Ministry of Health.
