Chief magistrate Candia Carette-George is calling on victims of sexual harassment to take a stand against their offender.
Speaking at panel discussion to continue the celebration of international women’s day she encouraged victims to gather all evidence of the harassment or abuse in efforts to protect themselves.
Carrette George says, it may be necessary to seek counseling in order to deal with the mental impact of such incidents.
George says sexual assault could also affect the social behavior of the abused.
