The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) has intensified land and sea patrols despite as the country continues to battle COVID-19.
Deputy Chief of Police Lincoln Corbette on Friday said some restrictive measures are still needed to contain the spread of the Coronavirus here.
Corbette says the CDPF is maintaining its checkpoints and patrols.
Corbette says Dominica’s borders remain closed, and urged persons to refrain from entering and leaving the country illegally.
He advised that with public transportation, 2 persons are now allowed per seat on buses. Bus Drivers who break this restriction are liable to be fined.
