Former Speaker of the House of assembly in Dominica Speaker Emerita Alix Boyd Knight is among several prominent Caribbean women who will be awarded by the Caribbean Court of Justice when the CCJ hosts it virtual awards ceremony at 9pm tonight.

This is particularly significant as she will be awarded on International Women’s Day celebrated under the theme: “Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow.’

Boyd-Knight says she is proud to be honored by the CCJ as one of 34 pioneering jurists in the region.
