CARICHAM Supports Caribbean Businesses To Build Their Resilience

As a means of support to enhance the resilience of the Private Sector, particularly MSMEs, The Network of Caribbean Chambers of Commerce (CARICHAM) and its ARISE Network has developed the CARICHAM Business Resilience Toolkit in partnership with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR).

The toolkit has been complemented with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Executive Director of the Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce (DAIC), Lizra Fabien says they had to take a proactive approach in supporting businesses since it can be noted that they are often faced with difficulties regardless of the risk they’re exposed to.

Fabien disclosed, the toolkit includes, a Business Continuity Plan & Guide, Planning videos and an Accompanying checklist all available in English, French, Spanish, Dutch and Haitian Creole.
