Calypso lovers can look forward to a scaled down Calypso show in 2021

Despite the cancellation of Carnival activities, Calypso lovers and enthusiasts can look forward to a scaled down Calypso show during carnival season 2021.

The one song contest will take place virtually.

That’s according to Emmanuel Salamat of the Dominica Calypso Association.

Salamat says only semifinals and finals will be hosted.

Salamat stressed that the reigning calypso monarch is expected to vie for his crown.
