Call for schools to incorporate more Physical Activity into school schedule
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education Chandler Hyacinth is calling on Dominica’s schools to incorporate more physical activity to the school schedule.
Hyacinth spoke at the handover ceremony of cricket equipment to the tune of $23,000, to 9 secondary schools including the Dominica State College last week.
The Ministry with responsibility for Sports made the handover.
Hyacinth underlined the need for physical activity at schools, and commended students who participate in sporting activities.
Hyacinth also urged teachers here to make special academic arrangements for students who participate in school sports.
