Government on Wednesday commissioned a third health and wellness center – this time in Bellevue Chopin.
The health center is located in the newly established community in Bellevue Chopin which also houses residents from the community of Petite Savanne who were displaced following the passage of Tropical Storm Ericka in 2015.
The center was opened in honour of Nurse Maria Moise who served the communities of Bellevue Chopin, Pichelin, Grand Bay and the neighboring communities for a number of years.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit told the commissioning ceremony, Government envisions several more improvements to the island’s healthcare sector.
