Astaphan Criticizes Calls For Live Calypso Shows

Senior council Anthony Astaphan is criticizing calls for public events despite a resurgence of covid-19 on the island.

As developed countries across the globe continue to relax quarantine and isolation mandates, some Dominicans have made the appeal for Dominica to follow suit.

Astaphan regards the notion as reckless as he questions who would pay the price should Dominica experience a greater surge of the virus following these events.
